The Mindfulness Meditation & Yoga Retreat offers an opportunity to fully dedicate yourself to the development of mindfulness and inner calmness. This is a time for practice, spent away from society, alone with oneself, and immersed in silence.
Who is this Retreat for?
- Experienced practitioners who already meditate and seek to clarify and refine the practical aspects of their practice.
- Beginners who wish to enter the world of meditation by learning correct techniques from the very start and are ready to commit to the process.
- Anyone with regular meditation experience, regardless of tradition or background, looking to deepen their practice and overcome mental and emotional barriers blocking their progress.
- Practitioners of any faith: you do not need to be a Buddhist. We will be practicing secular meditation, accessible to everyone, regardless of religious views.
Focus of the Retreat
This retreat will focus on:
- Strengthening concentration and awareness
- Overcoming internal mental and emotional obstacles
- Deepening experience of inner peace and stillness
The retreat program is designed to create a profound and transformative experience, allowing participants not only to strengthen their meditation practice but also to integrate these skills into their everyday lives.
What to expect:
- Mindfulness Sitting Meditation: you’ll practice sitting meditation to develop calmness, focus, and awareness of the present moment.
- Mindful Walking Practice: slow, mindful walking will help you connect with your body, your breath, and the natural world around you.
- Himalayan Yoga: gentle Himalayan Yoga sessions will support your body, helping you stay open, relaxed, and balanced throughout the retreat.
- Time in Nature: during the retreat, you can expect time to rest and recharge in peaceful natural surroundings. You’ll have the chance to walk through quiet forests and enjoy stillness and simple moments of connection with yourself.
- Healthy Vegetarian Meals: you’ll enjoy fresh, organic, and healthy vegetarian food made to support your energy and help you feel good during the retreat.

About Victoria Ottesen
Certified teacher of Mindfulness practises (MMIT, Odessa, 2019) and Himalayan Yoga teacher (Carpathian mountains, 2013). She has 12 years of regular practice experience and 9 years of teaching experience.
Speaker at the largest HR conferences and radio in Ukraine. Participant of many educational and charitable projects.
Victoria is a lecturer at the famous Ukrainian educational program for managers and owners of business “School of New Thinking”, corporate trainer in mindfulness and Cofounder of the first Ukrainian Mindfulness Association: https://www.uamindfulness.com/en
During the last 7 years Victoria has organised and delivered 35 retreats in yoga and mindfulness all over the world.

- 17:00–18:30 Opening circle: intention setting, introductory lecture on meditation and yoga
- 18:30 Dinner
- 20:00–21:30 Evening mindfulness meditation for better sleep
Saturday, September 27
- 07:30–09:30 Himalayan yoga and Yoga Nidra practices
- 09:30 Breakfast and rest
- 11:30–13:30 Breathing practices and mindfulness meditations
- 13:30 Lunch
- 15.30-18:00 Breathing practices and mindfulness meditation sessions
- 18:30 Dinner
- 20:00–21:30 Evening mindfulness meditation for better sleep

Important Notes:
* Transport from Kongsvinger can be arranged for you NOK 200 each way.
* Bring your own yoga mat and comfortable clothes. You can rent bed linen and towels for NOK 200.
